Privacy

Short version: the Saer tool never sends your code anywhere. This website keeps the minimum it needs to give you beta access or a licence, and nothing else.

Who is responsible

Saer is made by Lunar Computing, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, the data controller for the information below. Contact: privacy@lunary.app.

The Saer tool

Saer runs entirely on your computer. It reads your project files and writes a report into a .saer folder in that project. It does not upload your code, your report or anything about your project, and it has no telemetry. Licence keys are checked offline.

Beta requests

When you ask for beta access we receive your name, email, role, how your project handles colour, and anything optional you add (GitHub username, what you would scan). We use it only to decide who to invite, to send you access, and to ask for your feedback. It is stored with my email provider, Resend. Lawful basis (for people in the UK and EU): steps you asked us to take, and our legitimate interest in running the beta.

Product updates are separate and optional: you only get them if you tick that box, and every update has an unsubscribe link.

Payments and licences

Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Stripe shares your email, plan and billing country with us so we can issue your licence. Your licence key contains your email address. Lawful basis: performing our contract, and legal obligations for tax records.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics.

Who else processes your data

How long I keep it

Beta requests: until the beta ends plus 12 months, or sooner if you ask. Payment and licence records: as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how it is used, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@lunary.app. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
